A recent survey conducted by Equipos Consultores reveals a mixed outlook on the Uruguayan economy, with 29% of the population expressing dissatisfaction. The survey, published on Thursday, found that 27% of respondents consider the economy "very good" and 2% consider it "good," while 22% deem it "bad" and 6% consider it "very bad." A significant 42% of respondents classified the economic situation as "neither good nor bad."
Despite the mixed sentiment, 33% of those surveyed believe the economy will improve within the next year. The survey also found that higher socioeconomic strata tend to hold a more optimistic view of the economy compared to lower strata.
