A women's college volleyball team has become the focal point of the ongoing debate surrounding transgender athletes in sports. The level of attention surrounding this team is comparable to that generated by swimmer Lia Thomas.

The team recently advanced to the conference championship after their opponent, Boise State, boycotted the game in protest of the inclusion of a transgender player. This is not the first time a team has boycotted a game involving this particular team and transgender athlete.
